Lily is a grower and vegetarian chef & one part of The Edible Acre with her mother, Nicky. "I've had a passion for food and growing for as long as I can remember and was blessed to grow up in and around veg plots, herbs, plants and the outdoors - I have vivid memories of plucking carrots from the ground and wiping the clay soil off on my trousers before running off to continue playing with my siblings. In more recent years I have worked as a chef - specialising in vegan and vegetarian food which really shines when using proper, seasonal and local produce. I have a big passion for working with seed, from sowing, saving & sovereignty and find this a really interesting part of working as a grower in the UK."
